Spinach Basil Pesto

I used to make pesto with basil only (without the spinach), but not any more. This recipe, which I have been using for over a year, is perfect. Sometimes I leave out the pine nuts (can leave a metallic taste if they are from China); it's just as good without them. My daughter's request for when she comes home from college next week: please make the pesto. Freezable, but also keeps for quite a while in an airtight container in the fridge.

The goo came out great, but these were way too sweet for me. Next time I'll cut sown on both the brown sugar and the pudding mix.
