Dee's Roast Pork for Tacos

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2011
Very good! I found it took 5 hours in oven at 300 and an additional 2 hours on high in crockpot...next time I will probably just do in crockpot for 8-9 hours on low. A real hit! My hubby requested tacos for his birthday dinner and he LOVED it! Thank you!

Goat Cheese and Arugula over Penne

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2010
This was outstanding...my husband complimented with the FIRST bite which is unusual for him. I was tempted to just use a spring mix but decided to use all arugula and was glad I did, the peppery bite of the arugula was a perfect compliment to the creamy goat cheese and tomatoes. I used a whole wheat/flax seed penne. I will surely make this again, OFTEN. Thank you!!!

Apple-Berry Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2009
Exceptional! Next time, I would reduce the sugar to 3/4 cup...1 cup sugar wasn't terribly sweet, but it could easily still be reduced. Very good!!!

Baked Oatmeal II

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2009
My family really enjoyed this! I reduced the brown sugar by 1/3 cup and it was plentifully sweet. I used my pampered chef, clay 9 x 13 and it cooked in about 25 minutes. Even my teenager and her friends went back for seconds and she ate it the next morning for breakfast! Thanks for sharing!

Caramel Apple Pie II

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2009
My family thought this was too sweet and I had already greatly reduced the sugar...hard to taste the apples. I was also disappointed because I thought it was hard to taste the caramel too. Usually my pies are gone by day 2 and this sat in my frig for a week.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2009
Yummy! Easy enough for my 12 year old to make. I reduced the salt and was glad I did, do not use all it calls for. I used "Better than Bouillon" chicken paste-don't know if that is saltier than standard bouillon cubes. Great recipe for a cold day!

Veronica's Apple Pancakes

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2009
My entire family LOVED these, even my picky 9 year old son. I mixed a bit of maple syrup with the kids' preferred fake syrup and a sprinkling of cinnamon, all warmed in microwave for the cinnamon syrup. My only suggestion would be a pinch or more of salt, the flavors needed a bit of a pick me up. Otherwise, a delicious Saturday morning breakfast served with maple sausages.

Roast Chicken with Rosemary

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2009
This was scrumptious, simple, earthy and oh so homey. THe carrots and spuds I made with it, baked in the salty, peppery chicken fat were oh so vegetable heaven.
