Chocolate Turtle Cheesecake I

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2002
Once chilled, I needed a really good knife to cut through the caramel/crumb layer. The cheesecake portion was very "heavy". Although good, I don't think I'd make it again.

Gourmet Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2002
My family, all but one, loved this meatloaf. It is easy to prepare and very tazty and quite a change from ordinary meatloaf. This is excellent!I would recommend spraying the foil with Pam though, for easy removal after cooking.

Slow Cooker Chicken Parisienne

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2002
Having eaten in Paris and being a big fan of French cooking, my husband and I loved this recipe! My daughter didn't appreciate the wine but then she does not like wine at the best of times. For easy preparation and cooking this recipe is great. I think next time I might try lightly browning the chicken first, as everything looked the same colour (chicken, sauce and rice), the only contrast being the vegetables. But overall, trés fantastique!

Slow Cooker Spaghetti Sauce II

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2002
My slow cooker is large and I used 2 lbs of ground beef and added 1 large can of diced tomatoes, just cutting back on the tomato sauce. I also do not have a low setting for 4 hours, but cooked it on high for 4 hours and it was fabulous. What a fantastic way to top of spaghetti.

Poppy Seed Cake III

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2006
This was so delicious! I baked it for as two loaves, for a Christmas loaf exchange. Well let's just say I had to make more because my family insisted on taste testing before I gave it to someone else and they got eaten up. Very easy to make, very moist...just plain good!

Grilled Halibut Steaks

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2012
This was the best. Instead of the minced onion and garlic salt, I just used minced garlic, as I try to reduce salt as much as possible. My husband loved this and it may become one of our favourite meals.
