Slow Cooker Baby Back Ribs

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2014
I tried this for the first time today while I was away at a football game. I cooked it on low for 8 hours and came home and the ribs way over cooked and fell apart......I don't think that my crock pot cooks high. I used apple juice instead of water. I will try again for a shorter period of time...

Old Fashioned Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2014
I tried this, it was my first time making home made dumplings, Turned out ok, they were not quite as fluffy as I would have liked. I had to add additional milk & flour to thicken the gravy. I would try it again

The World's Best Turkey

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2013
I really enjoyed this recipe. I used a 15 lb turkey, cooked it for 3.5 hrs, I followed the recipe, the only difference I used fresh garlic and put it under the skin with the butter and I used cajun season instead of salt and pepper. Very nice easy recipe.

Zucchini Casserole II

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2013
I tried this recipe a couple of weeks ago and fell in love with it. I have made it a second time with just a few changes. First time I didn't have fres onion so used dried minced and added fresh mushrooms just to use them up. Second time I added fresh spinach. I love this recipe. I crave it. I made it Sunday and have had it everyday!

The Best Bean and Ham Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2011
This is a very good recipe. A little different than the normal ham & been recipe. I could not taste the chili power. I omitted the lemon juice as it did not sound good to me. I will definately make it again.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2011
OMG! This was amazing! Probably the best roast that I have ever eaten. I used a smaller beef top round roast, 1/2 pack of onion soup mix and 1 can of soup with 2/3 cup water. I add a few carrots and celery. Outstanding Sunday afternoon dinner!

Ooey-Gooey Cinnamon Buns

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2010
Fabulous recipe. I did as previous posts state, allow dough to rise 2 hours instead of 1, spread soft butter on dough instead of melted before rolling, use dental floss to cut dough, and cut baking time down to 18-20 minutes. Next time I will bake in a larger pan. This is the first time that I have made CinnBuns from scratch, fairly easy. I will make again soon!

Dill Dip III

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2010
Way too salty. I cut the season salt in half and it was still too salty. I had to add a cup of Miracle Whip to cut the salty taste. I also added minced garlic. Turned out good.
