Swedish Klimp
I think the dumplings turned out like the recipe called for them to; they were excellent but I may have made them too big for my family's taste. I believe that when I make these dumplings again with this recipe I wouldn't make them so large. However this may be difficult because when I was experimenting with the sizes, it was hard to form them into smaller dumplings. So for me it will take a few tries to figure out the right technique to get the right size that works for my crew. These dumplings work well with another recipe from this site "mom's paprika chicken" (pictured with the dumplings.)

Mom's Chicken Paprika
I have read the reviews and I don't care if this isn't truly Hungarian. My husband and I loved it. The gravy it made was delicious and I served it over (the Swedish) dumplings. I did tweak the recipe some deleting the thyme because we don't like it's flavor. I used Hungarian sweet paprika and a little smoked paprika. I didn't use the shortening either but used vegetable oil and it worked well. I usually love spicy but this recipe I feel is perfect without the kick. Thanks for sharing this recipe.

Soul Smothered Chicken
Loved this! Used baby carrots and chicken thighs and it worked out great. The baby carrots were not mushy and were cooked to the right amount of tenderness for my family which means we could still chew it. :) Thanks for this recipe.
