Broccoli and Tortellini Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2002
Great flavor and very nice appearance! I usually don't add the sunflower seeds to the salad but let people sprinkle on their own. This prevents "soggy" sunflower seeds in the event you would have leftovers, which you probably won't!!

Baked Custard

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2002
My oven must cook hotter than most people's because my custard was cooked way too much and had lots of bubbles in it. I would turn the oven down to 325 and I think the consistancy of the custard would be much smoother.

Strawberry Spinach Salad I

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2001
I used half the amount of sesame seeds and of the poppy seeds. I also substituted raspberry wine vinegar in place of the white vinegar. Very nice tasting dressing.

Jo's Brownie Mix in a Jar

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2000
I decreased the salt to 1 tsp with no loss of taste. I also increased the semisweet chocolate chips to 3/4 cup and decreased the vanilla (white) baking chips to 1/4 cup. I had to bake mine 35 minutes for it to be done in the middle using an 8 x 8 inch baking pan.

Garlic Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2000
I would decrease the dried basil to 3/4 or 1/2 teaspoon. It just seemed a little strong to me. The texture is very nice.
