Cornish Splits

This was my first attempt at making a dinner roll and they came out great! They are a very heavy roll, but very good! The taste of the bread lacks salt, so add more!

Prune and Raisin Filled Cookies

I made these cookies today and they came out great! My mother had requested this recipe but wasn't quite sure how they would come out because the cookie she typically had was filled with prunes and cherries. She actually likes these cookies better because they are not as sweet! We are from Rhode Island also, so maybe that is why my mother requested the recipe! (We now live in FL) Came out great and will definitely be on my cookie trays this holiday! One thing I would like to add, the dough tends to be very sticky! It was a lot easier once I dusted my hands with flour! I was a bit unsure of how it would come out at first, but very pleased!

Glazed Apple Cookies

I made three batches of these cookies!! They were great tasting and fairly easy to make! The second time around, I didn't chop the apples as fine. When you bit into the cookie you had the raisins and chunks of apple! Yum!

Doggie Birthday Cake

Made this for my shih tzu's 4th birthday! He loved it! I made them into cupcakes with blue frosting. I made the frosting out of cream cheese and cinnamon!

Peanut Butter and Pumpkin Dog Treats

My puppies absolutely loved these treats! They are small dogs however, so they were a bit hard for them to chew! Be sure to refrigerate!

These cookies tasted good, but they were a bit too oily for my liking. I used rather large cookie cutters and they expanded to be much larger than expected.

Chocolate-Peanut Butter Cake

I made this cake because I love Chocolate and Peanut Butter! I ended up using it for my brother's birthday. Everyone loved the cake! The cake was pretty simple to make and I had no trouble with any of the layers! Will definitely make this again!

Spooky Witches Fingers

I made these cookies at home and my family loved them! I now have to make another batch for a halloween party my mother is attending tomorrow! I did make the fingers skinny, because they do tend to puff up! I added green food coloring also! They're fun and I will definitely make them again next year!

Diabetic Dog Treats

Both my dogs are not diabetic but they absolutely love this treat recipe! My shih-tzu has a very sensitive stomach and he has not had a problem with these treats at all! I have been able to teach them new tricks using these treats and they sit by the oven just waiting for them to come out! Great recipe!
