seafood pizza

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2010
Please note that the sauce on the pre-cooked pizza shell was missed when this recipe was added. There should be 3 Tbsp pesto sauce and 3 Tbsp pizza sauce spread over the pizza crust first!! (adjust to your preference) Sometimes I just use pesto sauce!!

Manicotti Alla Romana

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2006
This was very good. I only used half the package of spinach and I added a diced red pepper and 1 cup mozzerella cheese into the meat mixture (the mozza cheese I added after it had cooled a bit). Thanks for a great pasta recipe!! Took some time, made a mess and had a GREAT meal!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2006
I have made so many different cookie recipes.. These ones are FANTASTIC. The dough is simple to work with if you follow these steps: Make sure to put it back in the fridge between rolls. Flour the table and the rolling pin.. roll lightly once (still 1" thick).. flip the dough, dust with more flour roll again (about 3/4 inch thick), flip the dough once more, dust and roll to the 1/4-1/2" thickness. The cookie is pretty to look at and best of all the taste is GREAT!! I would give this recipe 10 stars if I could.. I followed it EXACTLY and cooked them for about 8 minutes. Thanks for a superb recipe! (MAKE SURE NOT TO OVERCOOK) the cookies should be very light in color.. not golden brown (the bottoms will be golden).

Disappearing Marshmallow Brownies

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2006
The flavour of these brownies is wonderful. I cooked them for about 18 minutes and it was definately not enough. (very hard to tell as the toothpick method does not work due to the gooey marshmallows, chocolate and butterscotch). I will add a little more flour and cook them for atleast 20-23 minutes the next time I make these and I will make them again! They are very good and VERY rich! Thanks

Yummy Candied Yams

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2006
These were pretty good. I sliced the potatoes and at the end, I dumped a bit of the butter sauce out.. layered the potatoes in a casserole dish, sprinkled some mini marshmallows over the top.. and broiled until the marshmallows turned golden brown. That is what made them 5 stars for me! (and my kids ate them too!) Next time I will add a little less butter and sugar. Thanks for the recipe

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2006
My 5 year old boy gives these 5 stars too! They have a really good texture and flavour. (I normally fry chops and add a can of soup) but the breaded and baked makes it so much better! If you have the time to bake them.. this is the way to go! Thanks again

Cream Puffs II

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2006
I have changed my review on these after eating them. They are good.. but not as good as some I have had. The dough has a strong "doughy" flavour. They puff up beautiful and look great.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2006
These are fantastic.. you can use the cream cheese icing.. or just a regular butter icing drizzled on top (for those who might not like the cream chees taste) But I like them exactly the way they are!!! I let mine rise a little more and they were so fluffy.. GREAT RECIPE. Also.. you can make these by hand if you don't have a breadmaker.. just a little more work!! Thanks again

Sue's Two-Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2006
The picture of the cookies for the recipe is the ones that I made.. they are really good! I have made so many types of chocolate chip cookies.. I couldn't possibly count. This is a very good recipe. I altered it a bit... here are my changes: 3/4 Butter, 1/2 White sugar, 3/4 lightly packed brown sugar, 1 Tbsp Vanilla and 2-1/2 Cups flour. I baked the cookies in a 350 oven for about 9-11 minutes.. depending on the size. REMEMBER.. if your cookies are flattening.. they need more flour. Whenever I make cookies.. I make 4 on a pan for the first bake time.. that way I can adjust the recipe if needed! Enjoy and thanks for the recipe! Lala

Asian Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2004
FABULOUS!! I always use less oil and a little more vinegar (try different amounts to suit your taste!). I toasted the almonds, sesamee seeds and raman noodles 300*(no oil) BE CAREFUL they burn fast.. and I added atleast 1 chicken breast chopped up with seasoning. This was so GOOD.. I have made this 3 times in the past 2 months and will keep making.. thanks for a great salad!

Zucchini Cobbler

Reviewed: May 24, 2004
This recipe was good, but not GREAT. The only thing that makes this recipe "wow" is the fact that it's zucchini! You would NEVER know it was zucchini. But it definately is not a 5 star flavour!

Maple Walnut Fudge

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2004
My husband LOVED this. The next time I make this I will NOT put it on tinfoil (when I cut it, the fudge stuck to the tinfoil and I had to pick pieces of tinfoil off of quite a few pieces). The other thing I would change is to use a smaller dish. I like my fudge thicker (I used a 8x12) dish and the fudge was only about 1/2 inch thick

Famous Butter Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2003
This is a GREAT recipe that I can make with my 3-year old son!! I put the crackers, oregano, paprika and seasoning salt in a freezer bag give my son the rolling pin.. and he has a BLAST crushing up the crackers for mom. I only used 1/4 cup butter and it was plenty.. and around the pan I put a sliced garlic clove (with the butter)!! Thanks for a fun, easy and tasty recipe!

Candied Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2003
These are great! I have made them twice now.. and they have been a big hit both times...(even my 3 year old ate it all up) I serve them with rice.. just spoon the sauce over both chicken and rice.. mmmn.. yummy! Two things I changed.. I didn't add the oregano and I added Onion powder instead of grated onion (just because my son doesn't like little onion pieces he can see!) Thanks for the great recipe! I just wanted to add that I have used this sauce over chicken drumsticks and cook for 50-60 minutes until the chicken reaches doneness. (use a meat thermometer if you are unsure) It is great and both my boys (5 and 2) love it! I just put it all in a roasting pan!

ABC (Absolute Best Chewy) Chocolate Chippers

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2003
These cookies were really good.. I found that they had WAY to many chocolate chips, if I make them again I will reduce it to 1 - 1-1/2 cups. I have tried better chocolate chip cookie recipes so I can't give these 5 stars, but they were gobbled up pretty fast in this house!!
