Simple Beef Flavored Gravy

Amazingly simple - great little quickly recipe! I usually make a roux and do this in order, but you don't have to. Just throw it all in and use a whisk until its thick and smooth.

This is the classic "Mom" recipe! I used ground Turkey alternative and my husband didn't know the difference. It was great and way less fat.

Scalloped Cheese Potatoes

My potatoes were undercooked. I used a toaster oven so I dont know if that could have made a difference but I cooked them longer than the recipe called for. Regardless, my husband loved the flavor!

Bacon-Flavored Dog Biscuits

My dogs LOVED these for Christmas! One of them had to take it off to herself so she could just savor it -she's hilarious. I added shredded cheddar and crunched up 5 pieces of bacon that I used to get all that grease. Great easy little treats!!

Turkey Tetrazzini II

YUM! What a perfect way to use my turkey leftovers! I made the whole dish even though there's just the two of us. I refrigerated what we didn't eat, and in the morning, cut and wrapped individual packages to freeze. This is a great meal!

Super Easy Seared Ahi Tuna

Who knew ahi tuna was so easy? Love it! Instead of breadcrumbs, I used black sesame seeds and it was more Asian-inspired and delicious. Thanks for sharing this simple and wonderful recipe.

Spicy Lime Grilled Shrimp

Sounds great but once grilled, we didn't taste the lovely marinade at all. From my experience, it's more flavorful to grill them plain, then add the sauce AFTER grilling, no matter what the marinade is made of.

Yummy & Easy...oh, and very healthy too considering the protein of the garbanzos, the unique vitamins in red peppers and the lowfat dose of dairy in the feta - CHEERS!

Cheese and Prosciutto Focaccia

Used my bread machine to make basic white bread dough, then followed the instructions here. This is a fabulous recipe - flavor, texture, presentation all get A+. 1st night we ate as main, second night had slivers on the side with spaghetti - Mama Mia!!!

Movie Star Popcorn

Im so glad to see this recipe. Younger cooks may not even be aware that one could make popcorn any other way than putting a bag in a microwave. And it is SO much better this way - definitely more FUN - and without the nasty chemical tastes (and smells) that I notice when Im forced to eat nuked popcorn.

This was good but I chose to make my own Italian dressing rather than buy a bottle with all the extra gunk added. Its an easy recipe to change around according to a)what you have and, b)what you like.
