Pumpkin Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2010
I added balck beans and corn, but to be honest, the taste of this was just bland.

Hamburgers by Eddie

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2010
With adding the egg, I had to add bread crumbs, which made the burger not as good. Next time, I'll omit the egg, because otherwise the taste of the burger was great!

Tomato Pie II

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2010
I only needed about three 4 large tomatoes, and I didn't peel them, just sliced them. This had a great taste, but it was really runny. If there was any way to absorb/take away the moisture, it would be a 5 star recipe!

Tofu Peanut Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2010
Next time I'll use at least a cup of peanut sauce, but this was great. I Added the veggies in the last bit of simmering to add flavor, very good!

Used two cans of tuna, 3/4 cup plain bread crumbs and about a spoonful of extra mayo. These were great!

Best Tuna Melt (New Jersey Diner Style)

Reviewed: May 27, 2010
Used 1/3 cup of mayo and 1 tsp minced garlic. Added a couple splashes more of red wine vinegar. So good! I'll double the recipe next time and eat it for lunch the next day!

Tortellini a la Carbonara

Reviewed: May 23, 2010
To cut down on fat/calories I used turkey bacon and evaporated skim milk. 4 cups of this was just way too much, so next time I would start with 2 and add more if needed. Would make again!

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2010
I made it as directed, and the sauce was soooo thick, and the cream cheese didn't mix well. I added at least two cups of milk to it, and it was still too thick. On the plus side, cooking the chicken was amazing this way. I may make a different recipe with just the chicken and some olive oil and noodles.

Dijon-Tarragon Cream Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2010
According to reviews, I simmered garlic with the butter first, dipped the chicken in flour and I doubled the sauce. This was awesome! I had just enough sauce to serve a little drizzle over penne pasta. Great taste! Will make again and again!

Garlic and Ranch Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2010
I added 1/3 cup of bread and crumbs and they were still a little too moist. They were still tasty, I broiled them and served them with mayo, shredded carrots and sliced cucumbers and muenster cheese. Will make again!

Cheesy Pork Chops with Spicy Apples

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2010
I think this would've been better as a skillet meal, cutting the pork and adding it to the vinegar sauce. I thought the pork was bland, but the apples were great. Next time I'll try it the skillet way, adding shredded cheddar at the the end and serving over rice.

Ham and Swiss Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2010
This casserole is a must for anytime you have leftover ham. It's so simple and easy to substitute with ingredients you have an hand. I used celery instead of green pepper and elbow macaroni I had leftover. I stirred all the ingredients together instead of layering, and even threw in some poppy seeds. I topped the casserole with about a 1/4 c of the cheese. so good!

Chicken Cheese Chowder

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2010
I wish this would've been a little thicker, but I think it's just my lack of cooking skills when it comes to flour. The taste overall, was great! I added about a cup of frozen corn and used frozen cubed hash browns for the potatoes. Will definately make again!

Beef Bourguignon II

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2010
This is my 2nd, updated review. The mistake I made the first time was I stirred all ingredients before putting in the oven. Do not do this! Just prepare exactly as directed and it will not dry up. When I added the onions and mushrooms, I added about 1/4 cup of extra wine, and it was great!
