Red Skinned Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2014
I made this for a huge family reunion, and it was devoured! I've never made potato salad before, and this was a great one! I made a few slight changes...I cut down on the eggs and mayo, and used green onions. I made it again the same way for different group of people, and the bowl was empty this time as well. Such a simple, easy recipe. Thank you!

Sweet Pumpkin Seeds

Simple, and delicious. I don't like regular, salty pumpkin seeds, but these are addictive. My 3 little kids loved them.

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2014
Very easy and delicious. I followed a suggestion and used butter instead of oil. I'm not sure if this changed the flavor much, but this recipe is a keeper! My family is not a huge chicken-eating family. Usually when I cook chicken, it's in the crock pot so that it doesn't dry out. We were pleasantly surprised that this recipe is juicy and full of flavor. It was approved by everyone... including 3 little kids. My husband (who grew up completely on beef) was quite surprised at how much he liked this recipe. Thank you for the simply, delicious recipe!

Delicious and filling. My little kids love to help add the ingredients to the blender, and they devour it!

Whole Grain Waffles

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2013
Delicious! I used coconut oil in place of canola oil, and I didn't have pastry flour, so I just used regular ww flour, which probably made them a little more dense, but still delicious. Crispy on the outside...mmm! My 5 year old, who claimed "I don't like waffles!"...proceeded to clean her plate!

Garbanzo Bean Chocolate Cake (Gluten Free!)

Delish! I made into cupcakes and baked for about 22 minutes. Even my hubby (who isn't fond of "healthy" desserts) enjoyed this. A very quick, easy recipe.

Chocolate Zucchini Bread I

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2012
Absolutely delish! The only change I made was rather than 1 c. veg oil, I used 1/2 coconut oil, 1/2 c. applesauce. I will be making this on a regular basis! Yum!

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili

Yummy! It is so good and simple...I just throw everything into the crock pot and it is ready for lunch or supper. I only use 1 lb ground meat, and it is plenty.

Rainbow Clown Cake

Very pretty cake...I made it for my 2 year old's birthday. I used regular food coloring...using the number of drops recommended by another reviewer. It turned out very bright and vibrant. A very nice surprise when cutting through white frosting!

Crunch Bar

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2012
I thought these sounded really good, and I followed the recipe exactly (although I used pecans rather than walnuts). The crackers ended up soggy from the carmel/toffee, and even though I really sprayed the pan well, they were really hard to get out of the pan. These will end up in the garbage.

I thought these were pretty tasty, although the topping is kind of hard to spread over the marshmallows, even after they are cooled

Easy OREO Truffles

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2011
delicious and simple to make. As I was reading through the reviews, one person said that double stuff oreos won't work because it is too gooey. I was disappointed when I realized that I accidentally bought double stuff. Since I was bored, and wanted to make them, I added 1/2 block of cream cheese instead of the whole thing...this compensated for the extra filling from the cookies, and it had the right consistency! So, if anyone wants to make them but onlyhas double stuffed, just 1/2 the cream cheese and you are good to go!

Gobble Up Granola Snacks

Yum, Yum, Yummy! Great no-cook granola bar recipe, and so versatile! After reading other's reviews, I used 2/3 cup of brown sugar, PB, and corn syrup. For the corn syrup, I filled the 2/3 measuring cup about 2/3 full, then topped it off with honey. I will definately be making these often!

Bubble Pizza

We are a family of pizza lovers, and all of us agreed that this wasn't that good. It was quick, and tasted okay, but there was too much dough to topping ratio. I will stick with regular pizza. Thanks.

Super Easy Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2011
I thought this tasted great, as did my husband and 18 month old. It was unbelievably simple! I mixed the cream soups amd broth with chicken, spices and veggies in the crock pot for a few hours on high, then turned it to low, added the biscuits (1 16 oz can), and let it cook another 3 hours. It was wonderful!
