Grilled Chicken with Herbs

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2011
Delicious! It had a sweet flavor to it. I have to admit I added a little worcestire sauce, and didn't have parsley so I used lemon basil instead. I also used fresh sage.

Grill Master Chicken Wings

Reviewed: May 3, 2011
It wasn't bad, but I guess we just prefer the traditional buffalo wings. We probably won't be making this again.

Roasted Asparagus with Balsamic Vinegar

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2011
Made with ham this year for Easter. Was delicious- the best asparagus recipe! TIP: I added the soy sauce and balsamic vinegar mixture to the butter in the hot pan (fire was off), and it splattered EVERYWHERE! I suggest you mix them in a separate bowl.

Bone-In Ham Cooked in Beer

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2011
We're trying to cut down on our sugar so this was a great find! I had an 8 lb pre-cooked spiral sliced ham. I followed the recipe using 1 bottle of lager beer. It cooked for 2 hours, covered with foil. The whole family loved it and had seconds and thirds!

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2011
I didn't have time to marinade it but put the seasonings UNDER THE SKIN all over the chicken, as well as over the skin and inside the chicken. I basted the chicken while cooking. It was delicious!!!

Garlic Alfredo Tilapia

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2011
2 stars because it was edible, but we will not be making this again. I did not like the creamy sauce with the tilapia. My husband usually likes spicy things but he did not like the Creole seasoning with the tilapia.

Soft Garlic Breadsticks

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2011
These were delicious! Definitely a keeper! I thought it might be even better if I sprinkled a little salt or parmesan cheese over the melted butter for extra flavor, but the breadsticks were eaten very quickly by our family. Everyone loved them and they were so easy to make!

Cinnamon Raisin Bread II

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2011
This is one of my favorite bread recipes! I doubled the cinnamon. I've had bad experiences in the past with honey in breads so I followed another user's suggestion to use 4 TBSP sugar instead of the honey. The dough was sticky but I didn't add extra flour and the bread was very moist. I used half of the bread for french toast, YUM!!

Crustless Spinach Quiche

Made this for dinner using cheddar and parmesan cheese (didn't have muenster). Added cubed cooked chicken, minced garlic, and canned mushrooms. It was a great way to get the family to eat veggies!!

Italian Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2010
This was the best soup I've ever made! Didn't have cabbage so I skipped it. I used frozen green beans, 3 bouillion cubes and 2 cans beef broth. I also used fresh herbs- needed to use some from my Aerogarden. I will definitely be making it again!

The bread itself was good but not enough onions. Will make again and add more onions or look for another recipe.

Mom's Best Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2010
This came out great! Was even better a couple of days later. It took about an hour to reach 300 degrees. I used dry roasted peanuts and added them at 250 (per reviews). I also added extra nuts and I'm so glad I did. My first time making candy, doubled the batch (was probably too much). Made one on a non-stick pan, the other on a regular pan. The non-stick was much easier to take the candy off.

Toffee Nut Squares

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2010
WOW! These are delicious! Just a tip- wait until they're completely cooled before cutting. They'll cut neater that way. Also, some were hard to lift out of the pan without breaking, so next time I'll butter the pan first. I didn't have a 9x9 pan but doubled the recipe and used 8x8 and 9x13 pans. It fit nicely.

Walnut Cups

These might one of the best cookies I've made. I made 1/2 of the cookies with caramel filles Hersheys kisses (couldn't find Rollos), and 1/2 with mini peanut butter cups cut in half. Made for Christmas and prinkled red and green colored sugar on top to look festive. YUM!! Thanks for a great recipe!!

Cinnamon Cranraisin Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2010
I made this bread with the delay timer so it would be ready in the morning. It was on medium crust and large loaf. It came out burnt (b/c of the honey?) I'll try this again on light crust and medium size loaf next time and see it it helps.

Florentine Stuffed Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2010
I think the key is using a good sauce. I use boneless chicken and frozen chopped onions. Otherwise, I followed the recipe. It's a good way to get the family to eat spinach.
