Decadent Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: May 10, 2013
ONE!! This recipe is SOOOO delecious! Every bit as good as I thought it would be. So simple (and relatively cheap, I spent maybe $10 for 2 pies). TWO!! I made 2 pies with this, using the Oreo cookie crust. I also used whipped cream for the top layer (don't do this! I didn't know, but after a while, the whipped cream sinks, and gets watery, but this pie is GREAT right out of the freezer, so no worries). THREE!! I also used that magic shell ice cream topping under and over the whipped cream, topping the chocolate layer with crushed Reece's Peanut Butter cups. FOUR!! So while what I made didn't entirely match up to the recipe, the BASE is sooooo good. And YES it is rich, but it's SUPPOSED to be that way, so don't rate it down because of this, PLEASE.

Egg Foo Yung II

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2011
I didn't use any of the vegetables listed here because, frankly, I just didn't have them. I needed a recipe for dinner that used a lot of eggs and this was absolutely fabulous! I also didn't use the salt, but we LOVED the sauce, it was very good! I use flour instead of cornstarch to thicken my gravys simply because we like the taste better.

Aunt Anne's Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2010
Made this cake with very little modifications... Used 50:50 Brown and white sugar in the streusel. The topping was plentiful, but I doubled the whole recipe. I also didn't put the topping on before baking, but instead I let it bake halfway through then layered the top with the streusel. Got good reviews here!

Sloppy Joe Sandwiches

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2010
This was a good recipe. I have never made Sloppy Joes before, so this was amazing. I only have used store bought versions which tend to me extremly salty, a flavour I am not too found of. Anyway, I didn't have the Worcester sauce, so I used "Mr Yoshida's" gormet sauce in place of it. Turned out great! I also added a small onion.

Raisin Apple Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2010
I really like these, could use more raisins though. The flavor was good, only thing I changed was the topping. I ended up with left over apple which I just coated with Splenda and cinnamon, I used this instead of the crumb topping. I also made these into 2 muffin loaves. Baked at 350 for 27 minuets.

Blueberry Muffins II

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2010
These are great, I didn't have butter pulled out cause I just woke up and wanted muffins, so I used 1/2 Shortening + 1 tsp salt like another reviewer said, and it turned out great. I also didn't use muffin pans cause my propane stove is leaking and I don't have a small enough pan for my roaster oven, so I used my 9x9 non stick pan. Also used frozen mixed berries cause that's what I had on hand. Yum :D

Fruit-Filled White Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2010
Tried this just for the white cake part without the filling. So far, it's very good. I only added 2 full eggs instead of 4 whites though, so I ended up with a white/yellow cake. I am going to frost it with a chocolate frosting with little andes mint pieces in it :D

Easy Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2010
This was pretty good. We like a lot of cheese, so we used a pound of veleeta. Dad said it needed peas, but I despise them so yeah. :D

Golden Sweet Cornbread

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2009
This is great! This is my second attempt to make cornbread, the last recipe turned out dense and tasteless. This one is excellent! Texture is nice, and just the right sweetness for me! I will make this again!
