I Grew up cooking. My Dad used to make homemade peach ice cream and is outstanding on the grill and my mom always made us homemade bread, rice and raisen and lot's of stews. Food has lot's of great memories tied to it. I now love to cook with my son-age 5. I love to bake anything! Spending time in the kitchen, feeding the whole neighborhood is what makes me happy. Making homemade bread-The time together, the smell, the kneading, the waiting and then the tasting! Nothing beats a day with family baking and spending time in the kitchen. Cooking fish is the hardest thing for me-Mainly because I don't care for it that much. But, I made halibut fish taco's with mango/pineapple salsa that were the biggest hit at a recent neighborhood party. When I was first married I tried to make Cornish Game Hens with an Apricot Glaze. It was the worst tasting, stickyest creation I have ever made. My Husband still teases me to this day. My worst meal!
