Bacon Wrapped Pork Medallions

this is my husband's new favorite meal and I make it for special occasions regularly. The blend of herbs and spices is absolutely perfect!

This cake is light and fluffy. Very good flavor. I made this for a friend's birthday and did a layer cake with it. I wouldn't recommend trying it for cupcakes, though, as this cake shrinks as it cools and doesn't dome at all and makes for a wimpy looking cupcake.

Lamb Chops with Balsamic Reduction

I didn't even have to buy the most expensive aged balsamic vinegar. Just be sure to give it enough time to reduce to a thick sauce. I will be using this blend of seasonings, along with the sauce for other meats in the future, as well.

This recipe was simple and delicious! Will try with raisins and a sweet spread next time. Made for excellent french toast the next day, as well. There is a great video on youtube on how to make a 6 strand braided loaf.

Janine's Best Banana Bread

Love this recipe. Others have asked for a cup amount of mashed ripe banana. I measured it to be just under 2 cups, which made this bread PERFECTly. Also, I like to make mini loaves and wrap up for friends. For the mini loaves, fill the pans to 3/4 capacity and bake for about 40 minutes in a 350 oven. Just in case it wants to spill over your pans, be sure to place them on a foil lined cookie sheet while they bake. I also like to have a crispy sugary top crust, by mixing some brown sugar, white sugar, and cinnamon together and sprinkling it over the batter just before baking. Very delicious.
