Macadamia Nut Cookies

Quite a nice cookie. I'm giving it 3 stars because it was a very typical, yummy because of use of good butter and chocolate kind of cookie.

Blackberry and Blueberry Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2010
I did not use the crust recipe so I cannot comment on it. To sum up the discussion on using frozen berries: If you are using frozen berries, either don't drain so much juice and add the flour or cornstarch, or drain ALL the juice and DON'T add the flour or cornstarch. I drained all the juice and added the thickeners and it was way too thick. However, the sweet/ tart flavors of this pie was just right and adding the ground cinnamon as well as nutmeg wouldn't hurt (I used a combination of ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon, leftover from making carrot cake) and it turned out alright :)

Yogurt Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2009
i wouldn't say this recipe was terrific, but it wasn't bad. i didn't get much of a yogurt taste and overall only the chocolate chips saved it. i used a slightly thicker yogurt (which should have given a strong flavor in the cookie but it didn't) and my batter became quite dry so i added a teaspoon of milk to it. these cookies don't spread so you might want to flatten them a little before popping them into the oven. also, try to brush back "strands" of batter sticking out or they might burn
