Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2011
Wow! Thank you for finally ending my search for homemade potato soup. This soup was great and a wonderful addition to our meals. I didn't have half and half and substituted heavy cream and I cheated and used the predone bacon pieces. We love saving bacon grease for flavor anyway so I have plenty. Thank you for sharing this wonderful delicous recipe.

Schnitzel

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2010
Of course it's awesome. With the sauce it adds such dimension to this dish. Add just the lemon and I'd be hard pressed to find better. Simply delicous with german red cabbage. Hope everyone enjoys and it brings fond memories.

Sausage Casserole

I made this to the recipe and had the some of the same issues as other reviewers. I will use frozen hash browns instead and I think that will solve most of the problem I felt it was a bit oily.

My husband loved these. I really liked the topping but felt they were a bit dry. I will adjust for this but these are a keeper

Out of this World Turkey Brine

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2009
I too did this for our firts turkey this past thanksgiving. It was fabulous. We also put our turkey in a turkey bag to brine. We found we couldn't fit our 19 pound turkey into the bag with 2 gallons of water. At most I was able to put about 1 1/2 gallons if you have the same issue I would reduce the salt as we found ours to be just a tad salty. Comes out picture perfect.
