Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Strawberry Sauza®-Rita

This is my new favorite drink! I love a recipe that will make up a pitcher. It's perfect for any occasion...In fact I think I'll have to start making up reasons just to make this! Strawberry liqueur was impossible to find, so we just subbed margarita mix. I can see that drinking too much might give you a stomach ache. People that don't even like tequila like this. Make sure you use blanco.

Pistachio Mallow Salad

Banana Cake VI

Delicious! All my friends ask for this recipe whenever I make it. Some have even paid me to make it for them! The recipe makes a bit much for a 9x13 pan. If you halve the recipe it will make a nice 'bar'. Also I don't care for cream cheese frosting on it. Beat half a stick of butter with powder sugar, an egg and vanilla. Yummy!

Easy Chicken Tetrazzini

Nice easy meal. Kids like it. I'm not crazy about the cream soup. I would like it better if made with a real homemade cream sauce or something. But it's good for a quick and easy weeknight meal.

Grandma's Gingersnap Cookies

My family loved these cookies. I hate sifting flour, so I only did one sift and it was just fine. I do think a little less flour might be better (less cakey) and a tad less ginger. One Tablespoon is quite a lot. Oh and I used real butter. Yum!

Frosted Banana Bars

The cake is really good. I made homemade cream cheese frosting for it and I actually didn't care for it with the banana cake. I have always made this with another frosting recipe that's more like a buttercream and it actually uses a raw egg in it. I prefer that frosting with the cake better. Don't get me wrong I LOVE cream cheese frosting...with pumpkin bars!

Brownie Frosting

Wow this frosting is SO delish! Even my husband who normally is anti-brownie-frosting thought they were amazing. P.S. my secret to ultra chewy brownies is beat the eggs together and then pour out about 1/4 of the egg in the sink. Mmmm perfect!

Oven Pot Roast

I thought it was pretty good but honestly prefer crockpot better. The meat just wasn't as tender as I am used to. I usually do my roast in the crock with a can of mush soup and a packet of brown gravy. It is fall apart tender. I thought this gravy was pretty good too, and the picky fam all ate it.

PHILADELPHIA Vanilla Mousse Cheesecake

The cheesecake was good, but I wasn't crazy about the fluffy topping... I think I would prefer a sour cream type. I did not do the cookie crust, I did a graham cracker crust which is delish. It is just crackers, butter, sugar and cinnamon.

Sour Cream Pork Chops

If you like your pork chops to be fall apart tender than you should like this recipe. I however, discovered I don't like pork chops in the slow cooker. I thought the flavor was just okay. I can see how lots of reviewers have tweaked this recipe by adding cream of mushroom and baking in the oven. I have been craving pork chops since I'm pregnant and there are lots of other recipes on AR that are much better (Caramel apple pork chops!) Also this recipe was pretty time consuming considering it is a slow cooker recipe. Oh well, hope you have better luck!

Monster Cookies VI
