Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Excellent with some modifications. I like lots of flavor so we added some calamata olives to give it a little bang. Will definitely make again and will probably change it up again but this is a great base recipe. I did not make the meatballs and am sure that if I had, I wouldn't have used the olives.

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

This was wonderful. Cubed and browned the chicken with garlic and onion, then added it to the other ingredients. Let it simmer on the stovetop for about an hour and my family almost devoured it. I was hoping to have more left over but guess I'll have to make it again this week!

Chicken Asparagus Pasta with Cream Sauce

Very easy and was surprisingly tasty. Made as directed except used canned diced tomatoes (drained) and didn't have linguini so used spaghetti instead. Never thought to add the asparagus with the pasta and cook together. Loved the way it cooked up because I like my asparagus crisp tender! Will definitely make again.

Fluffy Pancakes

Since I had some leftover buttermilk on hand I used that instead of the milk/vinegar mixture. The batter was a little too think and I had to add a little more buttermilk, but they were delicious! Next time I want to add some vanilla and maybe cinnamon just to see what it tastes like. My hubby would say "why mess with a good thing", but I'm always trying to improve! Thank you for sharing!

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

Who wouldn't try a recipe when one of the reviews says it's better than sex? Made this exactly as written but it's not creamy or cheesy enough for me. Also, I'm not a big fan of the texture of cottage cheese. I will try again but modify and see if I have better luck. Hubby liked it!

Savory Deviled Eggs

I've only made deviled eggs once before, years ago but now that I've found this recipe, I'll be making them more often. Used white balsamic vinegar and added a tablespoon of diced jalapeno's. Left out the dill because I'm not a fan of the spice (but love the "real" thing"). Gone before half time!

Banana Crumb Muffins

These muffins are exceptional. After reading the reviews, I used 1/3 cup of oil, cinnamon and vanilla. My crumb mixture didn’t turn out too well because the butter was too soft. It’s very important to use the butter at the right temperature to get the correct consistency. I added some chopped pecans to the topping and although they didn’t look the prettiest, the taste is wonderful!
