About this Cook
Mother of 3 PICKY kids and a husband who goes back and forth not wanting to eat meat! Trying to plan menus to satisfy all keeps me busy!!
My favorite things to cook
Any kind of pasta dish, new fish dishes so I will actually eat fish, new baking ideas (usually with fruit involved), and slow cooker meals.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My moms awesome shrimp dip & her wonderful potato salad. My famous sweet potato cassarole and hash brown cassarole I am assigned to make every holiday!
My cooking triumphs
When my potato, bacon & corn chowder turned out to be the best I had every had or anyone who ate it had every had.
My cooking tragedies
When I was a kids I tried to make this crazy chicken and rice dish. I can't remember what I put in it except it was UBER tomatoey and the rice was crunchy! lol My family tried to be nice about it...but it was terrrible!!

Banana Cake VI
I made this delectable cake EXACTLY to the letter with the exception that I needed 20 extra minutes in the over & OMG! My family LOVED this cake!!! I cannot even believe how moist it is & the frosting so SO SUPER YUMMY!!! If you are at all debating about this one....please just make it, you will be so glad you did!!!!

Sweet Potato Casserole I
This was awesome! I also did not boil sweet potatoes first. I added rolled oats and cinnamon to the pecan topping and gosh was it YUMMY. Ofcourse, my children insisted on we had those too. I also made this for a work Thanksgiving feast & it went FAST! Everyone loves this!
