Sweet and Sour Red Cabbage

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2012
The instructions were a little unclear on what to do with the extra water. Although I used a medium-large head of cabbage, I had approximately 1/3-1/2 cup of liquid before adding the sugar and vinegar so my sweet and sour cabbage was a little juicy (still good to eat though) Also, if you like this recipe a little more tart, skip the butter. Koodos to adding the caraway seeds. I have never had this dish with them but I love it.

Hands down the most well loved pasta salad by my family. White balsamic vinegar is a nice sweet touch too.

This came out really simple and great. I ran out of white vinegar and used cider which worked just fine.

Authentic German Potato Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2010
For my own variation, I substituted 1/2 of the called for white vinegar for balsamic (only because i ran out of white vinegar) and was pleasantly surprised. I also only used 1 tablespoon sugar, as suggested by other reviews, rather than 3 and was very glad that I did so. lastly, i sliced my potatoes verses dicing them. Overall what a great recipe!

Bratwurst, Sauerkraut and Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2009
This dish was quick, easy, filling (although unforgiving the next day later), and worked fantastically with a nice German mustard. Will make again
