Cheeseburger and Fries Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2004
This was really good. My picky hubby even liked it. I did not add any additional salt as it was salty enough with out it. Also used shoe string fries & they stayed crisp

I used the beef broth instead of water and 2 packs of the dressing mix instead of one. It is a real keeper

It was so easy I did not believe it. It had a good taste and was a nice consistency. I did cook it a little longer as suggested in one of the reviews.

Artichoke Chicken

Reviewed: May 28, 2007
Like some mentioned it did get very watery. I also just let the water in the baking pan. We really loved the taste. And the chicken stayed very moist. I only used 1/2 cup mayo to 1 sour cream that made it not so much of a mayo taste. I doubled the recipe next time I will only double the chicken not the topping there was a little too much topping making it rather too rich, I had to scrape a little off. But my DIL & son loved it just as it was.

Zesty Coleslaw

Reviewed: May 28, 2007
I think it taste great and people that tried it either loved it or hated it. It looks like it has too much dressing on it but I do not think it taste too strong of dressing. But I may try adding just a little more cabbage. But it is a real keeper.

Cream Cheese Squares

Reviewed: May 28, 2007
I was invited to a last minute cook out. I did a recipe search saying I had crescent rolls & cream cheese on hand and found this recipe. Boy am I glad I did. The only things I did different, I took the suggestion of adding 1 egg and cutting the butter to 1/4 cup on top. This is wonderful. Two people asked for the recipe and every one that had some said it was great. I can't wait to try it with fruit next time as some said they did.

Hot Fruit Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2008
I made this for a recipe exchange. Everyone raved about it and took home leftovers. I baked it instead of doing the crock pot. I followed the recipe exactly except I added a few pats of butter on the top like I do when I make a fruit pie. Everyone sat around giving ideas of other ways to enjoy this wonderful recipe. Some were: as a pie filling, with a cobbler crust, over ice cream, the list went on & on and the kitchen had a wonderful smell as it baked. Oh I did not bake it 90 minutes only about 1 hr.

White Chili I

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2002
I used the suggestion of making it the day before to let it season over night. It was better the next day. But it is a wonderful recipe. I added some chicken with my broth which made it thicker. I don't feel it was too much cheese. Next time I may try some hot pepper cheese for a granish. This is a real keeper!

Pumpkin Dip

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2008
Very good but I did change a few things after reading all the reviews. I used half of: sugar, spices & OJ concentrate. To me with those changes it was perfect. I will make this many times I am sure.

Heavenly is all I can say. This is my first attempt at scones and I am well pleased. They are light and flavorful. I did add the teaspoon of vanilla and a little sugar on top, but did everything else as written. I can't wait to try these again with other things mixed in.

Mini Pineapple Upside-Down Cakes

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2009
Made these for my Red Hat Party and they were the hit of the day. Everyone thought I was so clever to make them, I almost hated to tell them how easy they were to make. I used the jumbo muffin tins and a pineapple ring fit perfectly.

I added the teaspoon on vanilla & went just a little less on the sugar. Baked them in the Texas size muffin pans - made 6 good size muffins. They were moist and tasted wonderful. Everyone that tried them loved them. This is a real keeper.
