Tiger Butter III

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2011
This was a good start, but needs at least 1/2-1 cup more of the crisp rice cereal, and probably more peanut butter to butterscotch chips. Like other reviewers, I thought they were too sweet, but I think with these changes they would be great. Also, I forgot the wax paper tip (line the pan with wax paper before spreading the mixture) and deeply regretted it. Next time!

Scottish Shortbread IV

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2010
Out of all the shortbread recipes on this site, this is my favorite and I will use it as my standard from now on! The key is the brown sugar (sometimes when I'm feeling rebellious I use DARK brown sugar). If you're so inclined and have a wicked streak like me, dip one half of each shortbread cookie in chocolate. I know, sinful. This really is easy and fun and a great one to make with kids.

Caramel Popcorn

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2010
Make this and you will hear Handel's Hallelujah Chorus playing in your head. Or whatever jubilant piece of classical music that suits your fancy. Sweet, rich, slightly salty flavor (I usually put more salt in since I'm just that kinda girl) that's surprisingly easy to make and well worth the wait when it's in the oven!

Naan

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2010
This bread melts in your mouth! I made homemade hummus and served it with the naan, and it was amazing! I love it with or without garlic, and it's best right from the grill. This is my standard naan recipe!

Pumpkin Pie French Toast

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2010
This was wonderful! I used plain half and half, but it I am going to try it again with Gingerbread flvaored creamer. The pumpkin mixture absorbed nicely into the bread. Delicious!

Peanut Butter Brownies I

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2009
This recipe calls for NO chocolate, so they're really a peanut butter cookie bar. I even added 1/3 cup cocoa for half of the flour as suggested and they turned out only slightly chocolate-y. Try using melted chocolate chips or even more cocoa powder to achieve the results shown in the picture. I would recommend only creamy peanut butter and the addition of peanut butter chips as well; this gave creamier results.
