About this Cook
I lost my job so now I'm Mr. Wife (no kids yet). I used to cook quite a bit when I was single, now I'm back into it for now.
My favorite things to cook
BBQ and grilling is my favorite, but I'll give just about anything a try.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My heritage is mostly Swedish and so my favorite cooking traditions revolve around a Swedish style Christmas.
My cooking triumphs
Every new successful meal is a triumph for me right now.
My cooking tragedies
While visiting friends in Spain I made hamburgers for our hosts. Their garlic was much more potent than what I'm used to from our supermarkets. The burgers were way too strong but they loved them! At least we didn't have to wear mosquito repellent for the rest of the week!

Fresh Herbed Halibut
Excellent recipe. Mild flavor that doesn't overpower the fish. Great for halibut and other mild flavored fish.

Perfect Pumpkin Pie
Great pie! I used our Halloween pumpkins for the filling and it turned out great!
