Slow-Cooker Posole

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2013
This was surprisingly good for how simple it is. I used mild enchilada sauce, and 2 4oz cans of chopped green chilis, and left out the cayenne pepper and it was pretty spicy still. I ended up using three cans of hominy. added the last can about an hour before serving. I have a 7 quart slow cooker. I ended up putting in about 3 cans of water and that was plenty. I suggest this as a simple, filling delicious meal to come home to on a work night!

Amazing Slow Cooker Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2013
This was crazy good! Don't know if it's better than any other home made cakes, but it was simple and very moist. I added dark chocolate chips after I put batter in crock pot.

Love this. was so simple and had great flavor. I liked it way better than the stuff you buy in a jar... and did I mention how simple it is? Will be a staple in the fridge from this day forward.

Pork Tenderloin Cubano with Mango Mojo

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2012
I absolutely loved this recipe. The stuffing inside the pork is just great. Simple and great. I was very unsure of the salsa with the mango and orange juice... but after reading the reviews... took a chance. Loved it. Everyone who tried it loved it. This is a simple recipe and is a keeper.

Cochinita Pibil

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2012
This was a pretty good recipe. I liked the marinade, but prefer to use a dry rub when roasting. I did low and slow in the oven. Pork was very tender, but was a little bland for me. However... those onions we're great! I would've never made onions like this, and I can't believe how good they were. When you combine them with the pork, it was very good. Solid recipe... will use again, just with more spice.

Baked Pork Spring Rolls

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2012
These are awesome! I made them for a party once, now I'm required to bring them every where I go! I make a double batch of filling, and use 1 package of egg roll wrappers (couldn't find the spring roll wrappers the first time). Works out perfectly! Still cook the same way, and I always turn the rolls half way thru cooking, or the bottom gets too brown. Thanks for sharing!

Pork Chops Stuffed with Smoked Gouda and Bacon

Reviewed: May 3, 2011
These were really good. What can be better than stuffing your pork with bacon! It was a lot of work... not something I'd do every day, but will make again, for sure!

Lemon Chicken Piccata

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2010
This is by far the best lemon chicken recipe I've ever made. I pounded chicken to be even, not necessarily thin. I soaked in brine for 20 minutes (6 cup water, 1/2 c KOSHER salt, and 1/2 c sugar - heat until dissolved, and cool completely). The chicken was amazing and the sauce was perfect. Thanks for a great recipe!

Amber's Sesame Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2010
This was surprisingly good. I, like many others, thought that the amount of sesame seeds was excessive. I used 2 tablespoons for the 1 cup of flour and it was fine. I used that amount of flour to make a double recipe. I, like many others, doubled or tripled the sauce. Loved it. If you don't like spice, leave out the crushed red pepper. It wasn't too hot, but if you don't like spice, leave it out.

Cajun Chicken Lasagna

I loved this recipe. You can adjust seasonings to fit the spice level you prefer. Next time, I will make my own bechamel sauce (I don't like using store bought sauces). Great recipe for something different, and easy to put together.

Pretty good recipe. Sauce was very flavorful and meat was tender. Next time I will try to braise in the oven to get rid of that "crock pot taste". Will make again

Polynesian Ribs

We loved this sauce! It's great to have a different twist on your every day BBQ sauce. I didn't like how the ribs were cooked - will make again, but let the ribs bake at 250 for a few hours until tender. Then add sauce.
