Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2002
We really liked this recipe. It was quite expensive for what I consider a family meal, but I would definitely make it again. Like so many others, I used a mixture of sour cream and ricotta. For the sauce I used Classico "Tomato & Pesto". I only used one jar and found it to be enough.

Baby Back Ribs

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2010
I made these ribs for dinner tonight. I transferred the ribs to a new foil lined baking sheet for the last part of cooking. I brushed with more sauce and cooked an additional 20 mins at 375. Fabulous! I would give it more stars if that was possible!

Best of the Best Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2008
We loved this recipe! Like others, I sprinkled the tops with cinnamon sugar. I had enough batter that my 12 muffin tins were filled right to the top and ended up spreading out quite a lot as they cooked. Regardless, they were delicious. It was nice to have a recipe that actually called for lots of blueberries. I will definitely make these again.

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2013
This was great! I did cut the salt and oil in half and left the breasts intact. I was worried about the amount of Worchestershire, but it worked. I will be making ths again!

Black Magic Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2009
Wow! This was so good! It has become my family's most requested cake. It was easy, moist, flavourful, rich and dense. I frosted it with Rich Chocolate Frosting from this site. It was as easy (but way better) than a cake mix.

Angel Hair Pasta with Shrimp and Basil

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2002
This recipe was awesome! I added an onion, used shell pasta and used shrimp that were already shelled and cooked. I just added the shrimp to the sauce at the very end. The sauce was just right for the shrimp--not too heavy or overpowering. I will definitely make this again!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2002
Delicious. I added red wine to mine, but next time I would not bother. We found the gravy to be a bit too strong tasting.

Slow Cooker Adobo Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2002
My family loved this recipe. I did make some changes--I used rice wine vinegar and cut it down to 1/4 c, added 2 tsp. ginger and 2T brown sugar. It was so easy and delicious! My son said it was like eating chicken wings without the mess. Next time, I will skin the chicken first or use boneless, skinless chicken breasts.

We all loved this! I did increase the shrimp (because I just wanted to use up the entire package) and used fresh herbs.

Blueberry Peach Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2003
Excellent! I made these many times during Aug and Sept. Now I use the peaches and blueberries that I froze. Fresh peaches are definitely better. These muffins have been a huge hit with everybody that I have served them to!

Gourmet Mushroom Risotto

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2010
I was a little skeptical about the amount of mushrooms called for in this recipe. I made the recipe as is and was glad I did! I found it made more than 6 servings. I will definitely be making this again!

Oatmeal Raisin Toffee Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2002
A huge hit! When I went to add the toffee bits, I was surprised to see that I had cinnamon chips instead. I added them anyway and the cookies were fantastic! Next time, I will make sure I have toffee bits and try them that way!

Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes

These were a big hit with my family. I did cut back on the butter and used the paper towel tip to keep the condensation off my potatoes.
