Wonderful - I make this for my family reunions in the summer and there's never any left.

Blue Cheese Burgers

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2012
I love a good grilled burger anyway, but this puts it completely over the top. FANTASTIC! I made exactly as suggested, except I ended up using prepared mustard instead of mustard powder (didn't have any).

Thin Mint Crackers

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2012
Easy, beautiful, and delicious! As suggested by other reviewers, I used Andes baking chips instead of mixing the chocolate and peppermint extract. I also used the snowflake shaped Ritz crackers that I happened to spot at the grocery store. I put some red/green/white sprinkles on to dress them up a bit. They turned out fabulous!

Butter Snow Flakes

I didn't have orange zest, so I left that out, but they still turned out fantastic.

Easy OREO Truffles

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2011
Awesome! I used my hands to mix the cream cheese and cookie crumbs thoroughly, and chilled the balls for an hour or two in the fridge before dipping. I used 8 oz baking chocolate and 8 oz white chocolate for dipping. I used a spoon and fork to roll them in the coating, and then drizzled them with chocolate to dress them up a bit. Delicious.

Peppermint Meringues

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2011
Fantastic - I was a little worried as I've never made meringue before. I followed the recipe except added 2 drips of green food coloring and 1/2 tsp peppermint extract while I was beating it. I followed other reviewers suggestions for warming the eggs in warm water before beginning and using a plastic baggie with the corner cut off to pipe it onto parchment paper. Cooked for 1.5 hrs, then left in oven with door cracked for another 1 hr. Melt in your mouth deliciousness! Will DEFINITELY make again.

Yia Yia's Tzatziki Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2010
Good, and very easy to make. I thought it was a bit too thick though, and it makes a LOT of servings.

Traditional Gyro Meat

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2010
This is pretty tasty - I thought it was a lot of work at first, and slightly (just slightly) dry. But the flavor is wonderful. The fact that my I had terrible quality pitas definitely did not help.

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2010
Super easy and delicious - I had followed a previous reviewers advice and added a large can of french fried onions - The next time I make this (and there will be a next time) I'll either use a small can or omit those entirely, as it was a big too onion-y for me with the large can.

Caramel Snack Mix

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2004
I've made this every christmas for the past 4 years, and it's so addicting! The only change I made was to use a large can of deluxe mixed nuts in place of the pecans and almonds. A few lessons learned: - Use the biggest roasting pan you can find, otherwise the cereal spills out while stirring. - Use a large silicone spatula to stir - it stirs easily, helps get all of the caramel off of the sides, and is gentle on the cereal so you don't break as much. - *** THE MOST IMPORTANT (and time consuming) PART: Stir while cooling. At first, stir at least once every 5 minutes. Once it feels like the caramel is not quite as sticky, you can stir every 10 minutes. If you wait 10 minutes at first, they'll stick together and you end up breaking the cereal. I usually keep stirring constantly for the first 5 - 10 minutes. Again, use the silicone spatula. It's a lot of stirring, but it makes a huge difference. Once it has completely cooled, I store in an airtight container. YUM!!!

White Chocolate and Cranberry Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2004
I found this recipe 3 years ago and have made it every christmas since! Very tasty cookie, with good texture, and the different flavors really blend well together (the tangy cranberry and the white chocolate especially). I'm making it again this year.

Lentil Soup

I thought this turned out really well, but it didn't go very well at the office get-together. It freezes well and makes a lot.

Double-Decker Fudge

This was pretty simple to make and it turned out pretty good. I wasn't a big fan of the texture of the peanut butter part but my family ate them.

Chicken Breasts with Herb Basting Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2004
Wonderful, healthy, tasty way to cook chicken breasts! I cut the recipe to make only 1 serving for supper and cooked it in a foil packet - no cleanup, and the flavor was infused throughout the meat! Will definitely make again.

Can't Get Enough Caramel Cookies!

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2004
I must have baked these too long, because they were really hard. I didn't think they were very caramel-y tasting either. Easy to make though, and no special ingredients needed. I'll probably try them again taking other's advice

Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2004
I liked it - way more than 3 servings, though. I used 3 cups of sharp cheddar, and sprinkled parmesan on the top. Really easy to make for a baked mac n cheese.
