Naan

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2013
Made this tonight with some chicken vindaloo. I made it on a grill pan as it was raining outside. Didn't matter. This bread was phenomenal. It was hard not to eat it as it came off the pan.

Colcannon

Outstanding recipe. I added a half cup of Irish cheese and holy cow! This is currently being served at St. Patrick's Day dinner tonight. Thanks for a great recipe.

Swedish Meat Pies

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2012
The wife loved these. I thought they were a touch on the bland side. Granted, I haven't had Swedish food yet that wasn't beige and salty, so maybe I'm not the best judge. I will say that the dough was wonderful and I plan on using it for other recipes.

Pumpkin Pie Pudding

This was outstanding. The shortened cooking time recommended by others was a good idea. I went 4 hours and it came out very well. Great recipe.

Carolina BBQ Peppers

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2011
Added banana peppers and onions to the jalapeno. Turned out spicy and delicious! However, I'm not sure how this will yield 10 pints. With all ingredients, we ended with 5 pints of ingredients! That was our only complaint; we thought we'd have more of this great stuff!

Hot Pepper Jelly

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2011
Once combined with all the suggestions, this was outstanding! 1) Boiled for two minutes instead of the suggested one. 2) Kept the 5 cup limit of peppers, but used a mix of red and green bell, banana, jalapeno, and for a kick, one nalaga jokia! Had it on a bagel with cream cheese this morning and it was OUTSTANDING! The jelly was perfectly set, not too firm, not runny or "weeping." Will definitely be using this recipe again!

Outstanding! I just finished making it and had a piece. Moist and delicious. I added 4 teaspoons of bourbon and I am in heaven.

So simple and makes for some outstanding apple butter when you chuck it in the slow cooker for the night.

Cajun Chicken and Sausage Gumbo

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2010
Turns out 8-10 minutes doesn't get me that chocolate brown roux. Ended up with blonde roux. No biggie, used it along with some extra ingredients and was extremely pleased with the result. I imagine it will be even better next time!
