Chocolate Chip Cookies Lite

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2012
I made these cookies exactly to the recipe. They're not that great but expected for a "lite" cookie. I think if you follow the other reviewers suggestions such as light instant vanilla pudding and decrease the chocolate chips by 1/2 that the recipe will be much better and not that much more calories then before.

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2010
Made just as the recipe says, had to find a recipe on here for the salad dressing. It was amazing!! My husband and his co worker loved it. I fry it up with mushrooms, green peppers, onions and top it with swiss or mottza cheese. Have made it several times now and its in our monthly meal rotation. It makes so much that I have enough to freeze some for another meal later on.

Pioneer Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2010
I fallowed the recipe to a T but subbed raisins for chocolate chips. I was craving a chew chocolate chip cookie but had no eggs on hand. They are not the best chocolate chip cookie I have ever had but for how simple the recipe is they are amazing cookies.

Ham Salad on Biscuits

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2010
I changed a bit of the recipe. I used dill pickles instead of sweat, I left out the Worcestershire and hot pepper sauce. It wasn't like what I remember as a kid but this is one of the only ham salad recipes I could find

Buttery Corn Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2010
This was a really great recipe. It is very sweet and I do agree with the others it has a bit to much flour in it. I just added more corn meal instead of flour.

Grandma VanDoren's White Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2010
My family loved it! I used a fast acting yeast and could have got away with using only 2 TB. I also ended up using more flour in the end but I didn't have any bread flour on hand so I used all purpose. I came out with 4 loafs of bread so I turned one into a cinnamon raisin bread. I sent a loaf and some honey with my husband to work and it didn't last 20 minutes!

Apple Crisp IV

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2010
Fantastic! I added some vanilla and a bit more nutmeg and cinnamon because I know I like those flavors. I was looking for a recipe that was like the one I grew up with and this is it! My husband loves to take an apple to work everyday so I buy the big box and most of the time I have a few left over that get soft and I use them for apple crisp. This will be my topping that I use from now on.

Layered Mousse Bites

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2010
My daughter and I made the bites last night and we used strawberry kiwi. WOW They are amazing! I remember having them as a kid but they taste even better now! I would recommend using a bit more cool whip if you want more mousse and thats the best part!

4-H Corn Special

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2009
Everyone else has found it pretty good. I recommend you read all the reviews make any changes you see fit. I added more spices and tomato sauce but thats because I like tomato sauce. I also added cheese because my husband loves cheese. If you put it on top with the crackers it becomes a nice crust to add a little crunch.
