Roasted Veggie Pasta

If you love veggie's (esp. roasted), this is divine! Beautiful, tasty, healthy. I made enough to last for two more lunches, and I'm so glad. Of course I modified according to what I had on hand. Subbed crimini for portabella (divine!) Omited tomato Omited tapenade. Added a little sea salt and black pepper. Used bow tie pasta.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Crab Pasta Salad

Delicious. The dressing is wonderful. I threw in some canned shrimp and it was great. I used this same dressing with diced avacado, red and green peppers, green onion and cherry tomatoes. It was so good I wanted to lick the bowl! UPDATE: I've made this a few more times and it's always so good. I have used Kraft Roasted Red Pepper Italian dressing with the mayo and parmesean cheese and it is a WONDERFUL combination!

Angel Chicken Pasta

Very good! the only thing I would change would be to use just water and not chicken broth (subbed for wine). It was on the edge of being too salty. I cut the butter in half. Next time I probably won't even use the butter.

Kielbasa and Kidney Beans

Love this recipe! It's very versatile, so if I don't have canneli beans I just use red kidney. I didn't have peppers once, so I added carrots. we loved it with the carrots, so I add them all the time now. Just cooked until crisp tender. I don't use all the brown sugar because it's too sweet with 1/4 cup. 1-2 tbsp satisfies our tastes. I also started adding 2 cans of beans (one white, one red kidney) for my hungry family. This is a regular at our house.

Shepherd's Pie IV

Excellent! I mashed the cauliflower w/the potatoes (can't tell it's even there). I also added about a cup of sour cream to the cream of mushroom soup. I have three recipes for Shepherds Pie, and I think this is my favorite. My kids like it with corn better than with green beans. This is a versatile recipe.

Idaho Tacos

These are so very good!! But may I recommend adding a can of drained and rinsed kidney beans to the ground beef mixture, and adding chopped fresh tomatoes. We've even added sour cream. Oh my, so very , very good!

Fluffy Pancakes

Excellent. Fluffy light and full of flavor. However, I do like a little more nutrition in my breakfast so I will be trying this as a whole wheat version! *!* NOTE: I just made these with WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR. 100% whole wheat, NO WHITE. And they are fantastic! WAY better than with white flour. Better than COOKIES!*!*

The Best Bean and Ham Soup

When your children say "Wow, this is good, can I have more?", you have a winner! Very good! I made it it the crock pot, using less broth (and I used chicken bouillon). I added a few more navy beans and increased the veggies and it made my large crock pot FULL and my medium crock pot FULL. Cooked on low for 4 hours without the carrots and celery. I then added the carrots and celery and cooked on low for 3 more hours. Fed 6 hungry people, with leftovers and I put 2 quarts in the freezer. KEEPER!
