Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

I made this recipe as written using Woodbridge Cabernet Sauvignon for my red wine. It was pretty good but the wine in the au jus was a little overpowering. I decided to separate and boil the au jus for a few minutes, then added 2 tsp of cornstarch blended with water to thicken it into a gravy. Still strong, until I added a sprinkle of sugar (yes sugar!) and some onion powder. Then the flavors seemed to blend perfectly. My husband and I loved this five star meal and served it with mashed potatoes and a broccoli vegetable medley. We will definitely make this again. Can't wait to eat the leftovers!

Easy Turkey Gravy

Very good recipe, easy to make. Had a nice thickness and made plenty. Next time I will reduce the seasoned salt to 1/4 or 1/2 tsp as 1 tsp was a bit much and left a slight aftertaste. Overall I'm very pleased. Thank you! I will be making it for Thanksgiving dinner 2010.
