Applesauce

We just went apple picking and used all of the apples for this recipe (about 30 apples). We may not have any for lunches this week. My kids and my husband won't stop eating from the pot. I did omit the white sugar because we didn't need it - and substituted 2 tablespoons of dark brown sugar. I also used a hand blender at the end because my youngest is just a baby. We are going back for more apples next weekend!

Country White Bread

I make this recipe twice a week. Two loaves for school sandwiches - and the other two I make into cinnamon sugar loaves. Like some other reviewers I spread out the dough after the first rise - sprinkle it with the sugar mixture - and then roll it up and place it into the pan for the second rise. I also melt a tablespoon of butter for the top of the bread before I bake them. We haven't bought any bread since I found this recipe.

Dark Chocolate Bacon Cupcakes

This was the first cake that I ever made from scratch. Super easy and very moist. Great tasting cupcake.
