Duck with Honey, Soy, and Ginger

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2012
Great recipe! I halved the amount of soya sauce because I made chicken stock using a chicken cube, and found it wasn't enough. I made it 1 1/2 tablespoon instead and it was perfect. The two pieces of duck breast I used were of different sizes. Since I like my duck well-done with just a hint of pink while my husband likes his medium, I put the duck breasts in the oven for about 17 minutes and both came out the way we wanted it. I got the sauce together a couple of hours before cooking and sieved the sauce before boiling it in the pan. This way, the ginger had time to soak and it is ideal for those who find biting into grated ginger a little too overwhelming. My husband absolutely loved this duck dish and couldn't stop saying how much he loved it :)

Great Garlic Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2011
I like this recipe so much that I'm practically making it every time we have a creamy soup for dinner. Easy yet home-made. However, be sure to serve it fresh out of the oven as mozzarella can get tough and chewy when cooled.

Malaysian Barbecue Chicken Wings

Great recipe and easy to make too. I prefer it without dried basil, though. Made it at a BBQ and oh my, it flew off the plates like hot wings! :)

PHILADELPHIA-OREO No-Bake Cheesecake

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2009
This is one of the easiest and tastiest recipes I've ever tried! Took it with me to a party and it was the first cake to fnish :) I used freshly whipped cream instead of whipped topping, so that the amount of sugar can be reduced according to taste. Because it wasn't so sweet, the focus was on the oreos and cream cheese - delicious!

Kentucky Tomato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2009
This is no typical tomato soup and explodes with flavour with I tried it the first time. My husband suggested adding small meatballs - a great addition for meat-lovers :)
