Favorite Old Fashioned Gingerbread

It's a good starter recipe but even after doubling the spices it still tasted like it was missing something. I think it tasted more like cake than moist and more dense gingerbread I've had before. I might try it again and add vanilla pudding or something to give it a little more oomph.

Cake Balls

Bacon and Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms

I used Hormel real bacon bits to cut a corner. Instead of butter I used olive oil. I added in some garlic and didn't really measure anything. I used baby bellas for the stuffing and they gave them a meatier taste. The only complaint I have is that they got kinda soggy from all of the liquid that came out. Next time I think I'm going to bake them on a cooling rack with a drip pan underneath. They were SO yummy!! :)

Chocolate Cavity Maker Cake

Oh my gosh, so good!! I plan on winning a dessert contest with this recipe! The only thing I changed was cutting the bake time by about 15 minutes. Other than that, it was perfect!

Jalapeno Popper Wontons

I added mozzarella and used jarred jalapeno slices and they turned out so good! My boyfriend was eating them faster than I could make them! I don't really like baked wonton wraps but I would like to find a healthier alternative to frying them.

French Bread

Excellent recipe! It makes 3 large loaves, I normally roll mine flat put different fillings (fresh herbs, garlic, olives, cheese, bacon) on it before I roll it into a loaf.

Raspberry Lemon Muffins
