Cabbage Rolls II
I had never tried cabbage rolls but allrecipies emailed me this and it sounded so good and easy I had to try it. And I'm sure glad I did! It was easy to make (the most difficult part was fishing the hot leaves out of the boiling water I may try the freezing idea next time.) Here are the few tweeks I did: I hate onion so I went with onion powder I added garlic powder (my personal taste) My tomato sauce was in a 16oz can so I doubled the sauce (which I'm glad I did) I also added lemon pepper and garlic powder to the sauce And I only had regular ground beef so I reserved some of the sauce and when they were done I served them in a dish that would drain the grease off and put the reserved sauce on top. The results were great! I love recipes that leave room for the addition of personal taste. You can easily add other ingredients to make this your own personal dish.

Cucumber Lemonade
I HATE CUCUMBERS! I won't even eat a salad where they have once been (even picked out the flavor never leaves) But I do like pickels so I planted four cucumber plants in my garden. By harvest I was giving cucumbers away by the five gallon bucket full so I had to find something else to do with them. I was going to have a party so I looked up cucumber recipes to see if I could offload smoe that way. I made the lemonade and tried a sip. I told my husband it was different from anything I had ever tried and proceeded to continue preps for the party. I was surprised when I picked up my glass to discover in the process of preping I had drunk it all and now I love it. BTW it was a hit at the party too. Thanks so much for posting this recipe!

Roasted Brussels Sprouts
Never had brussels sprouts before and had always seen the typical shows of kids dipicting them as gross and disgusting. But my four year old saw them in a grocery store and said she wanted to try them. We try to encourage her to try new things and if she sees something she would like to try we get it. From common fruits and veggies to stuff we have never tried or in some cases even heard of if she asks we get them and try to learn how to eat them. So I bought half a pound and proceeded to hunt up a quick and easy recipe. I happened upon this one and the review to cut them in half and now I'm hooked. My whole family loves them! I can never make enough and there are never leftovers! Even if you hate brussels sprouts I would reccomend giving this a try! I hate mushy veggies a toothless person could eat. So I always take mine out when they are just getting tender but still have a little curnch to them. Great recipe! Thanks so much for sharing it!
