My Best Clam Chowder
I made this ahead of time for my parents' Valentine's Day dinner, but I couldn't refrain from eating some myself! I'm not a huge fan of seafood, but this chowder isn't very clammy (even though I used clam juice to cook the veggies). I'd suggest adding more clams for anyone else though. Also, I didn't use the red wine vinegar, but it tastes great. It's a wonderful chowder base that could be used for just about anything.
