Chocolate Cupcakes

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2012
Although they are chocolatey, the cupcake was way too dense for my taste. I was looking for something more airy. I also have to agree w/some regarding trying to cream 3 TBSP of butter.... I'll be looking for a different recipe

Italian Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2012
This is a great vegetable soup. Personally I think I would have left out the ground beef. Not that I'm a vegetarian, there was just this wonderful smell that it wouldn't have been missed. Next time I think that's what I'll do. I also added tomato juice for the extra liquid. A great stoup! thanks for sharing

Colorful Vegetable Fajitas

Reviewed: May 7, 2012
I loved this recipe. The only swap I did was using only 1 TBSP of olive oil instead of the 2 TBSP of vegetable oil. I question the calorie count on this tho... maybe they used high cal tortillas. livingstrong had a much lower count.

Kentucky Hot Brown

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2012
after reading the reviews I had to try this version and it was ok. Call me old fashioned but I like it much better making a regular with the mornay sauce using Romano cheese.

Banana Nut Bread Baked in a Jar

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2012
this is the best of the best! I've made this recipe for years now. My kids & grandkids love this banana bread. I make it just as written most the time but from time to time & will handful or so of mini chocolate chips. Great as a gift! I've even made them in 1/2 pint jars for my single family friends & neighbors. You have to try it!!

Crunch Bar

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2011
this recipe is great. I made & baked it just as written. I found that 2 cups of walnuts was way too much and I finely chopped them as mentioned to the instructions... that was a bad move on my part. After tasting I think I would have preferred milk chocolate over semi sweet. I thought the semi sweet added a little too much bitterness. I'll make them again but with a few tweaks. Thanks for sharing

Easy Baked Chicken Cordon Bleu

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2010
this was so easy and such a great flavor. I made a couple of changes, I ended up using mozzarella cheese since that's what I had on hand and seasoned the chicken with Mrs. Dash and grey sea salt before wrapping. Excellent!!! And did I say so easy with a great flavor? Thanks for sharing

Ken's Perfect Hard Boiled Egg (And I Mean Perfect)

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2010
it worked ok... a slight hint of green around yolk. I'll stick to the boil water/simmer eggs method. Putting the eggs in cold water is what makes the peeling easier. That works like a charm

Amazingly Easy Irish Soda Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2010
I didn't find this to be like a traditional Irish Soda Bread. I loved the flavor but prefer the dense traditional bread with caraway seeds & raisins in mine.

I have made this recipe many many times & love the taste. It is the moistest cake, no icing needed. They also make great Christmas gifts for single/smaller households. No waste & good to the last bite. Ty

I have made these twice now and both times they came out excellent. Never made candy much before but I followed the recipe to the tee and everyone raved how they couldn't stop eating them. Thanks
