It tastes exactly like it says. My family loved it. I wasn't fond of it though. I wanted to make a German pancake and this recipe came up in the selection. I chose it because the kids were starving and I didn't have 40 minutes to cook the other in the oven. Flipping this over was an accomplishment to behold. Next time I would use smaller pans to make it easier to flip. If you are looking for a light and thin German pancake...this is not it. However, it is a great alternative to the regular pancake. Have fun with it. Add some vanilla or other favorite flavoring. Enjoy!

California Melt

This is really a great simple sandwich. I use jalapeno cheese bagels for heat, herb cream cheese, and thin slice red onion instead of the mushrooms. I also use provolone cheese. The cream cheese makes it ooey gooey good.

Soft Sugar Cookies IV

Ok, I am a sugar cookie NUT, and I love this recipe. I put them in a bag after cooling and frosted them the next day. The cookies are perfect after letting them sit. I ate them after cooling and wasn't impressed; however, they were AMAZING the next day. I rolled them out which was easy, but I had a hard time getting them off the mat onto the pan without misshaping the cutouts. I put them in the fridge and it helped. You won't be disappointed with this cookie, I promise!

Beer Batter Fish Made Great

I made chicken nuggets and onion rings with this batter and was not pleased with the flavor. Stick with fish. The batter is very light and airy. Flavor is a little bland. The chicken nuggets need a crunchier texture then this recipe provides. I think that using an egg white instead of the yolk could cut down on the greasiness of this recipe. The flour helps keep the batter on and it has the perfect texture for fish. It is worth trying this recipe out.
