World's Best Scones! From Scotland to the Savoy to the U.S.

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2009
This was my first try ever baking scones, and I've only baked a couple other things previously, so I was really happy with how well they came out the first try! They took a little longer to cook for me, about twenty minutes, but my oven's slow. I can't wait to try them with chocolate and different types of berries.

Yellow Squash Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2009
Pretty tasty! I didn't have the onion and cooked it in a pan a little larger than the one recommended, so it came out thin, but it was fine when stacked together on a plate.

Zucchini Alfredo

So good! I didn't have garlic or basil, but it still came out delicious. Would be fun to add more stuff, definitely - might try tomatoes next time.

Easy Chicken Rice Casserole

Pretty good for how easy it is. I only had one can of mushroom soup, and it still came out great.

Oven Potato Wedges

These are delicious! Really easy and come out well. Only thing is I can't imagine needing that much onion, although I'm not normally looking for ways to add onion.

Zucchini and Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2009
Pretty tasty. You can definitely cut down on the amount of butter and oil, though - after I cleaned my plate (which I did quite happily) you can see the amount of oil leftover. Also, I accidentally used a type of instant rice which never browned when I sauteed it, but it all still came out well.

Spaghetti Casserole II

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2009
Not that great. There's way too much spaghetti and not enough meat. It's edible, but not at all exciting.

Tomato Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2010
It is pretty good, though the breading didn't work for me at all, just stuck to the bottom of the skillet. Nevertheless, it was good. I used provolone instead of Monterey Jack cheese. You may want to add more spices into the breading mixture (if you can get it to stick) for more flavor.

Sarah's Applesauce

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2010
Utterly delicious! I did a tablespoon of cinnamon like others suggested. It seemed like not much water for a lot of apples, so I added a bit more, but then it was boiling a lot as it cooked, so I'd stick with 3/4. It does cook down, after all.

Bread Pudding I

Mine not have cooked long enough (it baked for over an hour, but my oven's slow), but it still came out very tasty, though of a weird consistency (like gelatin). I incorporated reviewers' suggestions, like more cinnamon.

Coconut Rice

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2010
This is really tasty, but I recommend using 1/4 coconut milk, 3/4 water - the milk is really thick. Tasty with raisins when you finish!

Chicken Enchiladas I

I made the changes everyone suggested - no water or tomato sauce, salsa and enchilada sauce instead - and it came out wonderfully. Very pleased with my first try.
