Bacon Cheddar Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2013
Time to use the Easter eggs! I followed the recipe as written and then topped mine with smoked paprika. They were awesome! My hubby and son REALLY liked them, but they like bacon in just about anything, lol! Thanks for sharing this recipe!

This was great! I didn't have any green onions on hand so I just used some onion powder in place of them. Turned out great! I will definitely be making this again & again!

Country Apple Dumplings

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2010
If I could give these more than 5 stars, I sure would!! I have always shied away from making apple dumplings because I don't have much experience with pastry dough. I made these to take to a potluck dinner at my church and the pan was cleaned out! I had to make another batch the next day for my family because they complained that they didn't get enough of them at the dinner, lol!! I thank you, docswife, from the bottom of my heart for sharing this wonderful, easy recipe!!

Thank you for sharing this great recipe!! I will no longer have to buy bread rounds from the bakery every time I want to serve a hearty soup or dip in them! My family loved them & started talking about the different sizes we could make for different things, lol! :)

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2010
This was just what I've been looking for!! Thanks for sharing this recipe. I used a packet of Zesty Italian dressing mix and 1 packet was plenty for a 5 lb. roast. Served it on crusty rolls with Provolone cheese and sauteed onions...YUM!! Sis wanted the recipe to take home for her family! :)

Acorn Squash with Apple

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2009
This is a very good way to introduce winter squash to the family. I did as Aileen did and just put the ingredients into the halved squash except I baked the halved & seeded squash in the oven cut sides down for 30 min at 350 degrees first. Then I flipped them over & filled them with the apples & seasonings (I used more cinnamon), covered them with foil & put back in the oven for 30 more min. When they were done, I scooped it all into a serving bowl & lightly mashed it all together. Excellent side dish!

Corn Dip II

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2009
I am from the midwest so maybe that is why I like this so much, lol! Great corn flavor! I didn't have any cilantro and the family doesn't care for cayenne so I substituted chili powder with delish results! Thanks CALVINANDHENRY, for sharing this awesome dip recipe!
