This recipe was the perfect starting point for my wedding cake! After learning the insane amounts bakeries wanted, my husband and I decided to make our own cake. We changed the extracts and where they were put, but otherwise followed this recipe exactly. My husband is from Montana and is a huckleberry fanatic, and I love white chocolate, so we flavored the cake white chocolate and the frosting huckleberry. We were wise enough to try different flavoring combinations beforehand and learned that putting them both in the cake was overpowering. Thank you so much for posting this recipe! You indirectly saved my wedding cake!
