Grandma McAndrews' Irish Soda Bread

This is a definite keeper! It's not too sweet, just the right amount of raisins. Perfect served warm with butter. It's crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I wouldn't change a thing.

Amish White Bread

This is a good recipe for sweet white bread. I made one change to it, however. Instead of 2 cups of water, I used 1 cup of water and 1 cup of milk because I prefer to make my breads with milk. I think the milk makes a better bread.

Fluffy Pancakes

So delicious!! I changed only 2 things. I made a double batch and used half white flour and half wheat flour and instead of the 2 TBSP. of sugar, I used 2 TBSP. of honey. They're light and flavorful!

Red Velvet Cupcakes

I have a cake business and I always dreaded when customers would order red velvet. I could never find a recipe that I was happy with...until now. This is very moist (though I did add 3 Tbsp. oil for added moisture and I use buttermilk instead of milk) and very flavorful! Love it!

Cookie Press Butter Cookies

These had great flavor, to me, but the end texture was strange to me...almost pasty. I never have very good luck with a cookie press and this recipe wasn't really any easier to work with than past recipes.

Buttery Soft Pretzels

These were probably the closest to mall pretzels as I've made so far but they're way too soft. Needs to be a slight crunch to the outside and these didn't. Overall, good. My children loved them.
