Jennie's Heavenly Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2011
This recipe was excellent. The only thing I changed was using an extra can of cream of mushroom soup and using chicken broth instead of the white wine. I only did that because it's what I had on hand. I served it over pasta with Garlic Bread and a salad. Very, Very Good!

Baked Beans II

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2010
These were some of the best baked beans I have ever had. Instead of putting the 2 pieces of bacon on top, I fried about 6 slices and mixed the cooked bacon in with everything else. I didn't have any red wine vinegar so I used regular white vinegar and it still tasted great! Definitely a keeper!

Bodacious Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2010
I made this salad last night and it was VERY good. The only thing I would suggest is to use a little bit more mayonnaise. It was a little dryer then we're used to. I also added in a handful of cashews and raisins. This one is definitely a keeper!

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2010
We had these tonight and they were very good! I used bacon bits and a regular onion just because that's what we had on hand. The only thing I would do differently next time is broil them on low for the last few minutes so the top gets a little crispy. We will definitely be making these again!

Chicken-Fried Chops

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2010
I just made these last night and they were really, really good. I listened to some of the other reviewers and used Cream of Mushroom soup in place of the cream of chicken soup. Instead of one can I used 2 so there would be extra sauce to put over the dumplings that I was serving with it. I also used Chicken Broth instead of water. Served it with dumplings, corn and dinner rolls. Great, easy meal!

Pork Chops for the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2010
This is one of my favorite pork chop reciepes by far! I took the suggestion of others and only used 1/4 cup of soy sauce and added 1/4 cup of honey as well. The sauce didn't look to yummy when I put it all in the crock pot but the taste was so delicious. We will definitely be having this again!

Slow Cooker Reuben Dip

I made this for the Super Bowl party that we attended and it was one of the first things to go! Everyone said it was great! I would definitely make this again for any event!

Easy Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2010
I followed this recipe exactly as stated. It was a wonderful and different way to serve chicken. Not to mention easy and super fast. My family really enjoyed it. The next time I make this I want to find a way to make the outside a little crispier. My boyfriend thought it was a little too soggy/soft.

Cook's Ham Steak with Classic Cherry Glaze

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2010
We made this in the middle of winter so the grill wasn't available. I just cooked it in a cast iron skillet and kept putting the sauce over the ham steaks. The next time I make it I will add a little less cinnamon since my family thought there was too much in the sauce. This was pretty good!

Mom's Best Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2009
I loved the idea of breading these with saltine crackers. I put the spices in the cracker crumbs instead of the eggs based on other peoples suggestions. I thought these were fantastic. Definitely will make again.

Carolyn's Oh-So-Easy Cherry Cobbler

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2009
This was a great beginner recipe for me since I just started baking. My family enjoyed it but my dad said it didn't taste like his favorite one from Bob Evan's. It's missing something. Definitely would make again though!

Libby's® Famous Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2009
I do not eat pumpin pie but I made it for my family since they all love it. It's the first pie I have ever baked. I did make one mistake though...I bought a extra thick graham cracker crust instead of a "pastry" type crust...my family loved the mistake. We will definitely be making this again!

Sour Cream Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2009
My family loved this recipe. We served it over noodles with parsley potatoes and corn. It was extremely filling and tasted wonderful. The only thing I want to experiment with is making the gravy a little thicker! Definitely worth a try though!
