Great recipe! I make it just like it says, using Kraft "Zesty Italian, fat free" dressing, and "Sweet Baby Ray's 'Sweet Vidalia Onion'" BBQ sauce. Sometimes I add a little more dressing than what it calls for. Also, if I need more BBQ sauce, I typically add the SBR "Sweet and Spicy" sauce, to give it a little more kick.
Really easy recipe. I cook on low for maybe 4-5 hours and then shred the chicken and let it go another couple hours.
We've made up several batches of this for my daughters 1st birthday party. We've cooked it up, put it in bags, and have a few frozen ready to go. Hopefully we can just thaw them and pop them in the crockpot on the day of the party! Haven't tried freezing this before so I hope it turns out ok....I'm sure it will.
