Butter Bean Veggie Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2010
This was a good way to use up a few cans of beans I had in the pantry. Next time I will add extra can of beans as I like hearty soups. also I did make one change and used italian seasoning in place of the basil and parsley to use what I had on hand

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2010
Made this for the 4th of july BBQ, everyone loved the chicken. the only thing I did different was to make the sauce the day befor and double it. I marinated the chicken overnight in 1 batch of sauce minus the cortarch and water, and the second batch i cooked on the stove with the cornstarch and water it thickend up nicely and I glazed the chicken with it a few times while it cooked on the grill! will make this again and again! loved it! thanks for sharing!

Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2010
This was really good , a nice change from spaghetti. the olny change I made was with the noodles used ziti instead that's what I had on hand. Hubby ate the leftovers the next night for dinner even though I made a chicken pie. he said he meant to bring it to work for lunch and forgot it so that was what he thought about all day.

Butternut Squash Ravioli with Sage-Brown Butter Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2010
This was so good, I get them in the fall at a local italian resteraunt they're only seasonal there and not on the menu all yr round. I was so glad i made these, now I can have them whenever I want. Hubby liked them too, but not the sauce so much, he said they should have had a slightly sweet cream sauce. for those who had a problem with the wonton wrappers. I used egg roll wrappers. place 1 egg roll wrapper on a cutting board brush with eggwhite/water mixture. using a tablespoon arrange 4 dollops of filling on the wrapper 2 on first row 2 on back row place another wrapper directly on top press down around the filling to seal cut out suares of ravioli- I used a pizza cutter- then use a fork and press to seal all the way around the edges. place the ravioli on a floured cookie sheet and place in the fridge for 1/2 hr covered with a clean dish cloth. when ready to cook boil a large pot of water satled and oiled. add 3-4 ravioli at a time- the key is to keep the water at a roiling boil this will prevent them from sticking together cook 2-3 min. remove with a slotted spoon and place on a plate tent with foil to keep warm. if you over cook the ravioli they will fall apart and become mushy and slimey! Thanks for posting this recipe can't wait to make again. this can easily be swithed up with pumpkin or sweet potatoes.

This is the best chicken wing sauce ever! I had 9 large chicken drumsticks, first I took 1 cup flour, 1/2 cup bread crumbs, salt and pepper, mixed in a bowl,I coated the chicken in this mixture. then I melted 1/2 stick of butter and poured it into a disposable foil lasagna pan coating the bottom of the pan, place the chicken in the pan and bake 20 minutes at 400 degrees turn chicken and bake 20 more minutes. when chicken is done coat with saauce and enjoy! can't wait to use this on bonless chicken strips. Thanks for sharing!

Sausage Potato Bake

Reviewed: May 25, 2010
After reading the reviews I thought this was going to be good, but I didn't like it at all. No one in my family liked it. I also found it to be very salty, maybe because of the beef soup and kielbasa is salty anyway. i can't put my finger on what was wrong. I followed the recipe as is. will not be making again.
