One Bowl Brownies

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2009
I have never made anything from scratch until this recipe and it was so simple and DELICIOUS! I will definitely be making these again. The only things I changed were: I used 3/4 c butter with canola oil, added slivered almonds, and used Betty Crocker Brownie Topper (chocolate) to frost them. I think the butter with canola oil combo made them extra rich and gooey, just the way I like them!

Chocolate Marshmallow Candy

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2009
I recently made these and froze them so they would last because they are irresistible! I used slivered almonds instead of chopped pecans, and peanut butter chips instead of butterscotch. They are incredibly easy to make and delicious right out of the freezer!

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2010
This recipe is perfect for a wonderful cheesecake. I added a can of crushed pineapple; I drained the excess juice of the pineapple and mixed it into the batter before baking. My version did not look perfect, as I am very new at baking cheesecakes, but it tasted absolutely amazing. The texture was perfect: creamy, rich, and smooth. This is perfect for a base cheesecake recipe, to which you can add other flavors. Everyone loved it, myself included!

Apple Crumb Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
I was able to make this the morning before Thanksgiving dinner. It was absolutely delicious, convenient, and so simple! I substituted greek yogurt for the sour cream, and added about 2 tbsp of light corn syrup to the apple mixture before filling the pie crust, to thicken it up a bit. I also put some pecans in it. I will definitely be making this again!
