Ricotta Cake

Reviewed: May 13, 2010
this cake was good though I did change the recipe a bit.instead of using yellow cake mix I used a marble cake mix and instead of using vinilla extract I used Anise extract to give it a bit of a kick. Came out good very moist. i kept it in the fridge for it to get a bit more firmer. I will definatly try the original recipe only because I had the marble cake instead of the yellow cake. Good evening dessert for the family...Thanks for sharing...

Pork Chops for the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2010
This recipe was very good. I lined my slow cooker and followed the recipe to a T. With the extra juice I added it on top of the rice. It had an oriental taste to it because of the soy sauce. Very good and I will definaltey make this again.

Italian Love Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2010
This cake was good but it was missing a bit of a kick. I made this cake 2 times one was the recipe and the second one I added a bit of vermute in the ricotta mixture and it came out AWSOME. I added a teaspoon just to give it an extra kick. My hubby enjoyed it so much he wants me to make it for Father's day. Thanks for the recipe...

Puff Balls

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2010
These where so easy to make. I had a biscuit in the fridge and one day I was just looking on the site. I came across this recipe. It was easy and quick what I did was cut the jumbo bisuits in fours and rolled them dropped them in the oil and fried them for not even 2 min. They cooked quickly. I let them dry from the oil and rolled powder on them. I will make these again and for hubbys co-workers. Thank you for the recipe...

Plain Cake Doughnuts

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2010
OMG...this donut was so GOOD. It didnt take ling to fry keep you eye on them when making these in a pot of oil. thats what I used because I dont have a fryer. Its cakey if you like that texture which I love. You can go to town to decorate them how ever you like. I like mine simple with powder sugar but I will make these with different ingrediance. You can also fill them to which I alsco plan on doing one day. Its very enjoyable.

Marshmallow Fondant

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2010
OMG...This recipe was very intimidating but I concured it. It took 2 times but the second time I didnot keep it in the fridge for 8 hours but only 4 it was more workable. My concerned was when to add color the it. so I added it when I was kneading it with a thicker consitancy. I will definatley used this recipe again for birthday cakes for my kids. I doubled on the water and buttered the bowl when I put it in the microwave for 30 seconds. It was fun but you really had to work with it. Good stress releaser... Thanks for the recipe. Have fun.

Slow Cooker Ham

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2010
OMG...This was so good. I cooked it over night and woke up to the sweet smell of this ham. The only thing I did was add a bit of water so it didnt dry. It came out moist and juicy. My husband was picking at it before we all sat down for dinner. This was my first time and I will always make this ham for some kind of special occasion...1 thing I lined my slow cooker with foil. It made the clean up very easy. Try it you'll like it. THANKS for the recipe...

Easter Egg Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2010
This bread was fun to make. Alittle time consuming but it was worth the wait. This was my first time making this type of bread and I know I will make it again for Easter or anytime of the year just omitting the eggs. This bread did come out very big so you may want to cut the recipe in half if you have a small party but for a big family like mine it was a good size. Make the bread yourself and have your kids color the eggs. My thing was when the bread was don the dye ran over the breads and gave the eggs little brown spot. Any one know how to avoid this please let me know. Thanks for the recipe....totally recomendation for this recipe.

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2010
This recipe was so good. The buns fluffy and soft. I was a bit nervous at first being to bread like but I was wrong. It was fun and very easy to make this recipe. I will definatley make this again and again. Who needs to go and get it from a Cinnabon shop when I can make it on my own and get praise from my family. Highly recomended. Plus I made my own cream cheese frosting to go on top. I was hit that day...
