You should really learn the Metric System. It is easier for your kids to learn math, NO FRACTIONS. There are 6.4 billion Metric users vs .3 billion Imperial based (America) users. Take a look at your kitchen, A cup and spoon is not the same in every country, it is not an universal measurement, a gram and milliliter is the same everywhere. So passing one recipe from one culture to another is easy.
America is the only Industrial Nation required to purchase two sets of tools and hardware in order to work, make or repair products! All other countries only need and use one system. How is that Free World Trade competitive? Not very American CEO smart, now is it.
