Vanilla Chai Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2014
This recipe was great! I used it in between and on the outside of a regular butter cake since I didn't want a cake with too strong a flavor to take away from the icing, and topped the cake with baked cinnamon apple slices. It was amazing!

Perfect Turkey

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2013
Just used this recipe for Thanksgiving and it produced some of the juiciest moist breast meat I have ever eaten. The only thing I did differently is that I roasted my turkey half the time breast down, the turned it halfway instead of 2/3rd. I also added more of each ingredient since I was roasting a 23 lb bird. Lastly, I roasted my turkey at 325°.

Pork Chops with Fresh Tomato, Onion, Garlic, and Feta

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2011
This recipe was delicious! I pretty much made it as written excepth that I used white wine vinegar in place of balsamic and that is only because I was out of balsamic. Also I couldn't find any yellow grape tomatoes so I just used a full pint of the red. Other than those two things, I followed the written recipe. I served over a bed of brown rice and a side spinach salad. I will definitely be making this again. Thank you!

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: May 12, 2010
I just made these this morning. They were GREAT! I only made a few small changes. I added 1/4 tsp. nutmeg and 1/2 tsp. cinnamon to the batter. And I used 1/2 tsp. of cinnamon instead of 1/4 to the crumb topping. I know many people substituted the melted butter for oil, but I did not. I think the melted butter worked fine. Also, technically you could make 12 muffins out of this recipe, but I stayed with the original 10. That way they rise enough to have a good sized top. I will definitely make these again!

Spinach Bacon Quiche

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2010
I am usually not a fan of Quiche, or anything that has an egg like taste. But my husband and daughter love it, so I gave this recipe a try. It was great. The only changes that I made was that I used 1 c. of milk instead of 2. I also used fresh spinach (because it was all I had) and sauteed it with just a little bit of garlic powder. I will definitely make this again!
