Turned out great! Used seasoned bread crumbs and the Best Marinara recipe found on this site. Served over spaghetti noodles. Yummy!

Butter Dip Breadsticks

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2010
This is a recipe that I've made a lot in the past and is perfect when you don't have time to let bread rise but want to serve bread with a meal. They taste great and is very quick and easy to make.

Praline Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2010
Was easy and looked good. We didn't like the rum taste AND I halfed the rum amount in both the filling and topping. I doubled the crust recipe and the crust was delicious and the right amount. I also did the water bath method and used a regular cake pan greased good with wax paper on the bottom. For the final 10 minutes I actually turned the oven off and left the cheesecake in for an hour and half since I needed to run errands and wanted to make sure it was set. We chilled for about 5 hours and cut with a warmed up knife. It presented itself well.

Turkey in a Bag

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2010
9 lb turkey...I expected it to be 2 hours or less based on other comments but it ended up being 2.5 hours. I forgot to put holes in the bag. I did open up the bag for the last 15 min or so to brown it. Also rubbed turkey with olive oil and seasonings...stuffed cavity with cut apples. YUMMY turkey!!!

Cranberry Salad III

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2010
Served in a trifle dish. Was really pretty and everyone liked it. Husband wasn't crazy about cream cheese layer...may try it with whipped cream or I know a good marshmallow/sour cream layer that could work.

Green Bean Casserole II

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2010
Rinsed and thawed the green beans a little first. Mixed this up the night before (minus the fried onions) and kept in fridge. Added onions and cooked the next day. I substituted sour cream for milk and didn't like that taste so next time I'll try with milk.

Amish Custard Cottage Cheese Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2010
My family liked this. I don't think I would probably make it for guests (unless they requested it) but it was really good. I didn't have evaporated milk so I omitted the sugar in the recipe and just used sweetened condensed milk and it turned out great!. We served with ice cream.

This was great and easy to make. I only had 1/4 of an onion left so I used dried onion flakes.

This wasn't quite what we were expecting. The sauce wasn't the greatest.

Pizza Pinwheels

I followed suggestions to freeze dough. These turned out pretty but we didn't like the crescent dough taste as much. May be better with biscuit dough. Will try again.

I used only 3 apples and kept the topping the same. It was excellent and just enough for 4 people.

These were good except I over-cooked. Probably should only cook another few minutes after adding pea pods.

This looked great and tasted great. I should have taste tested one before serving because I needed to cook them a little longer. Will for sure make again.

Butterfinger Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2010
This were pretty good. The butterfingers are a little chewy in the cookie and they didn't flatten out when cooked so I used a fork to make a criss-cross pattern in them after they had baked for 5 min. Not to die for cookies but pretty good.
